I absolutely loved having these boys in the studio! Seriously, they are the sweetest little dudes ever.. aside from my sweet little guys haha! Notice the suckers? Look, sometimes you have to do what you have to do and I LOVE that both mom and dad were so accepting of that. Madelyn quite literally said Well, you’ll just age suckers in your pictures it ok.” Situations like these are what I love about photographing children, though. No session is ever expected to be perfect. I prepare for tantrums, the “don’t wants” and needing to have snacks on standby. My goal is to always capture the REAL memories of that day, not some staged and posed fake images. That is just what we accomplished here! Their suckers cheered them up so they kept them and, honestly, that’s the beauty of it all.
